On October 31, Anhui Biocompounds Chemicals Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Biocompounds Pharmaceutical Inc., participated in the special symposium on major emerging industries held by Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission at the provincial government. Major emerging industry projects refer to the key areas that have mastered key core technologies, have been industrialized and have a certain development foundation, and can be cultivated into strategic emerging industries in about three years. BPI actively responded to the call of Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission to realize the industrialization of achievements in Anhui by transferring Shanghai's technological achievements and sharing patents. The subordinate factories will declare, construct and produce, give full play to the respective advantages of Shanghai and Anhui, and quickly realize the expansion in the API industry. Taking the project undertaken by the subsidiary Anhui Biocompounds Chemicals as the main body, build a major emerging industry engineering project of "precision medicine - small molecule targeted drug manufacturing base".
At present, Anhui Biocompounds Chemicals Co., Ltd. has advanced products and technologies such as small molecule targeted drugs, alkaloid antitumor drugs and endogenous multi chiral center active small molecule analogues. The company has 26 invention patents and has realized the large-scale production of more than 30 varieties. A talent team composed of 18 fixed scientific researchers led by executive director Mr. Kang Litao and researcher Wei Wanguo, an expert of the "Hundred Talents Program" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been formed. It provides many well-known pharmaceutical enterprises at home and abroad with technology development, quality research services and customized production of multiple tinib varieties.
The project plans to invest 150 million yuan, of which no less than 60 million yuan will be invested in phase I (2017-2020), mainly to build small molecule targeted drug manufacturing platform, R & D laboratory, pilot test platform, multi-functional manufacturing platform and GMP production workshop. It is estimated that the sales revenue will reach 150 million yuan and the profit will reach 30 million yuan in 2020. In the next five to eight years, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than 500 million yuan and profits and taxes of 80 million yuan.
